Principal's Message

Dear Parents/ Caregivers and Students,

It is time to wrap up the 2016 academic year at Sirius College. I sincerely congratulate and appreciate all of your hard work, dedication and support. It gives me great joy to reflect back on this year, knowing that our staff, parents and students have given it their all to make Sirius College a better place for everyone.

A special congratulation goes out to our beloved students. Like always, through their enthusiasm and hard work they have developed significantly and reached many fantastic achievements.

Of course, I can’t do without acknowledging our teachers as they continue to guide our students and support them in reaching their full potential.

Now that the term is almost over, ahead of us is a lengthy holiday period. I hope to encourage our students to grasp this as an opportunity to grow further; of course, they should relax and spend time with their family, but they should also find space to learn new things, through activities such as reading, writing and problem solving.

We are sad to announce that a few members of our staff, Mr Taner Demirci, Mr Ali Ozturk and Mr Erdem Yakmaz are leaving us this year. I thank them for their valuable contributions to Sirius College and I wish them a healthy, safe and prosperous journey in the opportunities they are to grasp.

EYC and ART Festival and Graduation Night

The last two weeks have been especially exciting in Sirius College. The End of Year Ceremony and the Art Festival were definitely amongst the highlights of the year. After weeks of preparation, students from F-5 presented the school community with a fantastic line-up of artworks and performances. Last week, the Graduation Ceremony was a memorable night for our Year 6 graduates and the Sirius College community as a whole. I would like to congratulate the graduation committee for ensuring our graduates got a night to remember, worthy of their treasured place in the Sirius College family.

Graduates of 2016

Dear Graduates,

What a pleasure it has been to share a crucial period of your growth with you.

Congratulations to every single one of you for your efforts throughout the year. Never forget the relationships you have established throughout your time at Sirius College, and be sure that you are always welcome back whenever you wish.

Last but not least, I would like to wish all parents, students and the staff a happy and safe holiday. I look forward to welcoming you all back on the 2nd of February, 2017 for another wonderful year.
